About Ayurveda

The word Ayurveda is made up of two Sanskrit words – ayus ( life ) and ved (knowledge) which is referred to as science of life “.

The concept of Ayurveda and its practice is based upon the belief that body, mind, and soul are all a part of one system. Ayurveda incorporates diet, herbs, lifestyle, and yoga to expel the impurities and toxins and to heal or purify from within.

Ayurveda classifies a person’s energy into 3 different categories – pitta, Kapha, vota. These energies are manifested in one’s body where all three energies are present and any one of them dominates the personality. Any imbalance of the three causes health issues which can be loved from within with the help of ayurvedic properties like herbs, fruits, roots, species, and exercise, etc. Like modern medication which focuses only on the problem or disease and not on its root cause or source. Ayurveda has a different approach to it. It focuses on the root cause and purifies your body, mind, and soul.
